General Recommendations
for the AviClear Laser
Pre-treatment
Avoid any form of skin exfoliation for one week prior.
Do not tan or use self-tanner for at least two weeks before.
Arrive with clean, product-free skin for the treatment.
Discontinue use of prescribed topicals 3 days before treatment
Avoid waxing, epilation, chemical peels, and laser hair removal 7 days before treatment. Your skin should not be irritated.
No sunburn. Previous sun exposure and tan are acceptable
For men: shave facial hair a day before the procedure
Post-Treatment
Day 1-3: Limit any exercise or activity that can cause seating for 24 hours post-treatment.
48 hours post-treatment: Avoid heat (hot showers, hot tubs, saunas, etc.).
Day 4: Resume your regular skincare routine. If any products with active ingredients cause sensitivity, stop using them for a week before gradually reintroducing them.
Always: Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors.
Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizing cream.
Makeup can be used the day after treatment
Maintenance
Follow the plan developed by your specialist, as timing is important for achieving results.
Continue with the skincare routine tailored for your skin.
Apply and reapply SPF every 2 hours if outside.
