How does Cosmelan works:
The Cosmelan treatment involves using a proprietary combination of active ingredients with proven efficacy that interfere with the entire process of melanin production. In addition to removing the accumulation of excess melanin (pigment), the Cosmelan treatment inhibits the formation of new pigment.
Cosmelan works via several mechanisms:

Therefore, Cosmelan is effective to treat spots such as: melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentations (PIH), solar, senile lentigo and freckles.
It's generally recommended to avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before and after the treatment to ensure optimal platelet function and hydration.
It's best to avoid strenuous activities for 24-48 hours after the procedure to allow the treatment area to heal properly.
